Regular homeowner maintenance is essential to providing a quality home for a lifetime. While we strive to build a defect-free home, we are realistic enough to know that, with repeated use, an item in the home may fail to perform as it should. When this occurs, we will make necessary corrections so the item meets our warranty guidelines. In support of this commitment, Greene Homes provides you with a limited warranty with service checkpoints throughout you warranty period.
Like purchasing a new vehicle, when you purchase a new home, you are provided with a warranty.
There are several different stages to this seven year warranty.
After your PDI, you will have three opportunities during the first year to request warranty work on your home. We will accept a warranty request form in writing on the following timelines: 40 days after possession, 6 months after possession, 1 year anniversary. This list must be submitted in writing to our office.
Please note that in order for any service items to be addressed we will require access to your home, with an adult present during regular business hours Monday to Friday.
After hours, or on weekends or holidays: You may call the necessary trade contractor or utility company directly. Their phone numbers are listed on the Emergency Phone Numbers magnet you received at your PDI, as well as in your homeowner manual. Please allow 24 hours for emergency response.
